Amsterdam Mini Cruise
2018 - P&O North Sea Ferries - 4 Days (AED0184)
Amsterdam is most famous for its romantic and extensive network of canals lined by beautifully gabled buildings and packed full of treasure-packed museums, antique filled shops, modern boutiques and a vibrant drinking and dining scene that will suit all budgets.
The city’s canal network is interlaced with a wonderful network of narrow lanes punctuated by hanging basket decorations and bicycles....lots of them! It is often the easiest and quickest way to get around, so should you feel the urge there are lots of bikes to rent. But if you don’t fancy doing the work yourself, you can always jump onto one of the many boats that offer a range of transportation options throughout the city’s canal network.
You really can’t walk (or bike) very far at all without bumping into a masterpiece. The Van Gogh Museum features the world’s largest collection by the city’s favourite son, Vincent. A few blocks away, Vermeers, Rembrandts and other Golden Age treasures fill the recently completely renovated Rijksmuseum. Het Rembrandthuis offers more of Rembrandt via his etching-packed studio, while the Stedelijk Museum counts Matisses and Mondrians among its modern stock.
For those looking to just take it easy, Amsterdam is hard to beat. The city offers a huge range of bars, cafés and restaurants for you to relax in and when the weather allows it, you just can’t beat sitting outside and watching the world go by, surrounded by all that Amsterdam has to offer.
The look, feel and atmosphere of this vibrant city is simply unmistakeable!
