Aberystwyth & The Vale Of Rheidol Railway
We travel to the seaside resort of Aberystwyth on Wales’ west coast where we join the historic Vale of Rheidol Railway and travel through 12 miles of stunning scenery to Devil’s Ridge, home of the famous waterfalls and nestled in the Cambrian Mountains. The railway recreates the Edwardian spirit of adventure, and the restored steam train is a wonderful way to travel and see a different side of Wales, from farmland to rugged mountain scenery. You will also have some time to explore Aberystwyth. This seaside resort boasts Wales’ oldest pier, a Victorian promenade, the world’s largest Camera Obscura, the longest cliff railway in Britain and is foodie heaven. After free time here, we join our coach and return home.
