Join us on this super weekend break taking in two amazing, world-famous cities in the North West of England – the vibrant and cosmopolitan Manchester and Liverpool. Each is packed with culture, fun and interest. Known for their influence on the histories of music and industry, both also boast rejuvenated waterfronts and offer a multitude of shopping and entertainment so there’s plenty to see and do!
We include guided coach tours where you can soak in the history and culture and give a great introduction to the two cities before having free time to explore and enjoy however you see fit. After joining your coach at your convenient local pickup point, head towards Manchester aiming to arrive at The Trafford Centre early afternoon. Enjoy free time discovering the huge range of shops, bars and restaurants housed in this impressive shopping centre before re-boarding your coach in the early evening and heading to the comfortable Mercure Haydock Hotel. Check-in for the next two nights with dinner included.
After a leisurely breakfast, we will travel to Liverpool, home of The Beatles, The Liver Birds and The Mersey. Your guided coach tour will show you the amazing highlights of this world-famous city, and then you'll have free time to explore some of the most famous locations yourself. A vibrant city, Liverpool has plenty to see, from the Liver Building to the famous Cavern Club, or a visit to the rejuvenated Albert Dock.
Re-join your coach late afternoon to head back to your hotel to enjoy your included evening meal.
After a hearty breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head to Manchester to enjoy this magnificent city. Once again, our guided coach tour will highlight some of the major sights and share fabulous stories of this incredible city through the ages. It boasts its own fantastic culture with a range of attractions for all tastes and ages, and the city centre is packed with unique and eclectic restaurants, bars, shops, museums and galleries. You'll have some free time at leisure before rejoining the coach mid-afternoon for your relaxing journey homewards.
