St. Giles Hotel Heathrow
The St Giles London Heathrow is located close to the UK's busiest airport but an ideal spot from which to combine visits to the heart of London and royal Windsor. The hotel is well appointed with a range of facilities including a charming bar and excellent restaurant. All bedrooms are equipped with all of the usual amenities that you would expect and there is Wifi available.
After boarding the coach at one of our local pick-up points, we head towards London, and our first excursion of the trip, to Wembley Stadium. After taking time to look around and enjoy the tour, we head to our hotel.
Enjoy hearty traditional English breakfasts and join us on our excursion to the World Rugby Museum and Twickenham Stadium. Re-join the coach in the afternoon and head to the hotel for the evening.
After a final breakfast it is time to make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.
The award-wining Wembley Stadium is one of the most famous stadiums in the world, attracting massive events in sport, music and entertainment, seeing over 2 million visitors per year. It is the home of English football, and visitors can explore behind-the-scenes. Tours take you deep into the heart of the stadium to areas usually reserved for the VIPs.
World Rugby Museum & Twickenham Stadium
Rugby is a beloved sport around the globe, especially in our home base of Wales, and on a visit to the World Rugby Museum located at Twickenham, you can see over 41,000 objects on display in the galleries. The museum has the most extensive rugby football memorabilia in the world, as well as archival material and photographs. Rugby fans are sure to love looking around. Twickenham Stadium Twickenham is the home of England Rugby, and the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world. Built in 1909, it is an impressive venue for holding England’s home internationals and end of season club finals. On a tour with a rugby expert, you can take a seat in the England dressing room, check out the view from the royal box and imagine the roar of the crowd as you run out of the player’s tunnel to the pitch.
