Media City Salford

Join us on this informative and entertainment tour of the BBC studios at Media City Salford, the corporation's new base in the north of England and one of the most ambitious projects in the BBC's history. This is your opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes... These studios are home to a whole host of BBC channels and programmes including favourites such as Match of the Day, Blue Peter, A Question of Sport, Mastermind, BBC Breakfast, Radio 5 live, CBBC, BBC Sport and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, to name just a few. The well-informed and friendly tour guides will entertain and surprise you as you walk in the footsteps of your favourite stars. We'll make sure that you see the most interesting areas available when you visit us, as well as giving you a fascinating insight into how TV and radio work. Please note that the BBC buildings are working buildings, so no two tours are the same, but they'll always be informative, interesting and fun. Please note: All visitors are permitted one small bag only (no rucksacks or shopping bags) and all adults aged 18 and over will be required to provide photographic ID to allow entry into the BBC Studio tour.

Blackpool is the stuff of old English postcards, known for its fun and humour. There is plenty to do for all ages on a traditional British seaside holiday to this iconic destination. From the high-tech adrenaline of its famed Pleasure Beach to its three distinctive piers dotted along the golden beach and remember to pick up a stick of Blackpool rock. There is a fabulous range of activities available if you are looking for something different. Blackpool Zoo, The Model Village and the Dungeons to name a few. In the evening, why not pop into Blackpool Tower and enjoy a waltz in the ballroom? Blackpool’s charm is its defiant embrace of the seaside holiday. It offers a mix of thrills, fun, laughs, and relaxation. What more could you want?

Liverpool with guided tour

Full of history, culture and friendly people, Liverpool is the ideal destination to discover and enjoy. A World Heritage site with a wonderful collection of museums, galleries, shopping and dining, there really is something for everyone in this fantastic city. The coach will take you to the historic Albert Dock complex with a great range of visitor attractions including the iconic ‘Beatles Story’.
