Liverpool is a fascinating and inspirational town with a reputation for wit and an obsessive love of football. It also has an impressive cultural heritage. It has more listed buildings than any other city outside London and its galleries and museums are among the best in the country. Its ongoing program of urban regeneration is transforming the city centre into one of the most pleasant cities in England. And then there are the Beatles. Liverpool cherishes them not because they’re wedded to the past but because the Beatles are such a central part of the tourist experience.
Enjoy a unique opportunity to see the extraordinary Terracotta Warriors which return to the UK in 2018. The exhibition, staged at Liverpool’s World Museum, will be the first time in more than thirty years that these spectacular warriors from the tomb of China’s First Emperor, Qin Shihuangdi, will be brought to a museum in the UK outside London. Discovered in North West China in 1974, the Terracotta Army represents one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
