A stylish new hotel housed in a Grade II-listed building, with a chic restaurant and thoughtful design touchesThe Comet Hotel in Hatfield is a 4 star hotel which has seen a multi-million pound refit, and has been refurbished for the modern age, bringing a fabulous hotel destination. First opening its doors in 1936, the original Comet Hotel was named for the locally built de Havilland Comet DH.88 racing aeroplane. Beautiful period architecture, classic design and future-facing technology combine to create a welcoming and exciting environment, a rebirth for Hatfield’s most iconic building.
It now boasts a total of 65 guest rooms which combine comfort and considered design to give you the best possible stay. It is home to the warm and welcoming Element Bar & Kitchen with excellent food and drinks, all locally sourced where possible. The hotel also has lift access.
