A super weekend break visiting some of the greatest cities of the North West of England for superb sightseeing and shopping!
Our three city tour gives you the opportunity to explore Liverpool, Manchester and Chester and although they are all only a short distance apart, each has their own unique history and character. Each is packed with culture, fun and interest, from the home of the Beatles to the home of one of the UK's biggest shopping centres and the best-preserved Roman city in the country. This fantastic break gives lots of free time to discover them all.
Based at the delightful and welcoming 4-star Mercure Haydock Hotel which is ideally located for our stay, your package also includes dinner and breakfast daily, making this weekend incredible value for money! We even include a stop in the lovely town of Shrewsbury as an added bonus.
This is a wonderful long weekend trip that we have packed full of fun visits taking you to some of the best that the North West of England has to offer and we hope you'll love it!

Itinerary
Day 1
After joining your coach at your convenient local pickup point, we make our way to the ancient county town of Shrewsbury. Enjoy time to explore the cobbled streets and historic buildings with the opportunity to browse the lovely independent shops and eateries. There’s free time to explore the quaint narrow streets and hidden alleyways, before travelling on to check in to your 4* hotel and our included dinner.
Day 2
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before enjoying a full day excursion to Liverpool with lots of time to explore, shop and dine as you please before returning to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy dinner.
Day 3
Day 4
After our final breakfast, we leave the hotel and begin our homeward journey, but with one final treat as we visit the charming city of Chester. Enjoy some free time for shopping and sightseeing before rejoining the coach to relax as we continue our journey home.

Shrewsbury

The town has over 600 listed buildings including the Castle and the Abbey (home of the fictional Brother Cadfael). Relax in beautiful Quarry Park or take a boat trip on the River Severn. The historic centre is a shopper’s heaven packed with designer shops, smart new malls and an amazing range of independent retailers. Liverpool

You can also take a ferry across the Mersey, browse some of the amazing shopping opportunities, or visit the historic city centre. Chester

Mercure Haydock Hotel
The 4-star Mercure Haydock Hotel is set in a traditional Georgian mansion-style building, built around a central courtyard. The hotel is surrounded by its own beautifully landscaped grounds, making it a great option for those looking to unwind. The hotel is home to enjoy the Bistro-style Beechers restaurant, which serves contemporary European cuisine in elegant yet laid back surroundings. The Lounge and Conservatory bar offers an impressive selection of drinks and light refreshments. Bedrooms are a good size with ensuite facilities, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. The hotel does not have a lift but a number of ground floor rooms are available on request. Otherwise bedrooms are accessed via a staircase to the 1st floor.
