This lovely weekend break takes you to 3 of the greatest cities in the north west of England - Chester, Liverpool and Manchester PLUS a visit to the fabulous RHS Bridgewater with lots of free time to explore them all. You'll be staying at the lovely 4* Mercure Haydock which is ideally located as a base from which to visit all of them. We hope you have a fabulous time.

Itinerary
Day 1
After joining your coach at your convenient local pickup point, head towards Chester and some time to explore this historic city before travelling on to check in to your hotel and dinner.
Days 2-3
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel every morning before enjoying our INCLUDED excursions, returning to your 4* hotel every evening for dinner and a natter with your fellow travellers.
Day 4
Enjoy a final hearty breakfast before rejoining your coach for the homeward journey, full of great memories and maybe some new friendships?

RHS Gardens of Bridgewater

Created in 154 acres of the former Worsley New Hall Estate, with the Bridgewater Canal forming the southern boundary, it is the RHS's first new garden since 2001, and is one of Europe's largest gardening projects. This beautiful garden opened in 2020 and was designed by world famous landscape designer Tom Stuart-Smith. Amongst the highlights you can enjoy are an oasis of calm in the Paradise Garden, the Chinese inspired four season themed Streamside Garden and the fabulous Orchard Garden.Manchester

The 4-star Mercure Haydock Hotel is set in a traditional Georgian mansion-style building, built around a central courtyard. The hotel is surrounded by its own beautifully landscaped grounds, making it a great option for those looking to unwind. The hotel is home to enjoy the Bistro-style Beechers restaurant, which serves contemporary European cuisine in elegant yet laid back surroundings. The Lounge and Conservatory bar offers an impressive selection of drinks and light refreshments. Bedrooms are a good size with ensuite facilities, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. The hotel does not have a lift but a number of ground floor rooms are available on request. Please advise of any requirements at the time of booking.
