The Torbay Court Hotel
The Torbay Court Hotel is the perfect location for your stay in Paignton. Centrally situated in Torbay, just a few minutes walk from the seafront, it is in a cul-de-sac away from the noise and crowds. The hotel's restaurant provides a selection of delicious meals every evening and the large bar has a wide selection of drinks and there is live entertainment most nights. Bedrooms are en-suite and have a large digital TV, shaver point, hairdryer, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and WiFi. There is a lift to each floor for ease of access.
After joining the coach at one of our pick-up points, we are heading for South Devon. Don't forget that there are no interchanges with Leisuretime (yay!), so settle down and enjoy the ride. We'll be making a stop or two along the way, so you'll get the chance to have a cuppa and grab some lunch if you fancy a bite. We expect to arrive at our destination by mid-late afternoon.
Day 2 & 3
Start your day with a traditional English breakfast followed by free time and our included excursion to Plymouth. Dinner and festive entertainment are provided at your hotel 2 nights of your stay.
After your final hearty breakfast at the hotel, we make our way home, stopping for a chance to grab coffee/lunch along the way.
With its rich maritime heritage and its status as the regional capital for culture, Plymouth is one of the most dynamic and fascinating places to visit in Devon. If you’re a fan of all things nautical, then be sure to make a trip to Plymouth Hoe. Not only is it the backdrop for Sir Francis Drake’s legendary game of bowls, but it’s also one of the most beautiful natural harbours in the world. You can get incredible views of the Plymouth from Smeaton’s Tower. And don’t forget to pay a visit to the Barbican, a bustling array of specialist shops, restaurants, cafes and world-class attractions in Devon, all set against the backdrop of Plymouth's picturesque harbour.
