Excursions

Port Sunlight (combination guided tour & admission) + Chester guided walking tour

Port Sunlight
is a beautiful model village and award-winning tourist attraction boasting wide boulevards lined with charming cottages, all built in an intriguing range of architectural styles. Originally built for workers at the nearby Lever Brothers Factory, the Wirral village attracts around 300,000 visitors each year. With more than 2,000 residents, the village features a range of attractions including the award-winning Port Sunlight Museum and a recently-restored Edwardian workers’ cottage. A fascinating experience.

Chester may be the best-preserved walled city in England, with its galleried streets, Roman Wall, Tudor houses, and unique medieval shopping experience at the famous ‘Rows’, where the shops are quite literally ‘on top of each other’. This is a fascinating city where you can truly combine a love of history with some truly inspiring shopping opportunities! Join us on a walking tour of the city to learn more from an expert guide.
