There’s also a wide variety of cafes, pubs, and restaurants which you can sit outside and watch the world go by in summer or find a cosy spot inside during winter.

The Royal Grosvenor, Weston-super-Mare

Situated in the heart of Weston-super-Mare opposite the pier and overlooking the bay, the Royal Grosvenor is within easy walking distance of the Winter Gardens and the Sovereign Centre shopping precinct. The hotel boasts a friendly bar and restaurant with great views out over the beach and sea. All bedrooms are well furnished and include tea & coffee making facilities and TV.

Day 1

After joining the coach at one of our pick-up points, we head to our destination, with convenient stops along the way where you can grab a snack or lunch. Leisuretime tours have no interchanges, so sit back and relax on the coach. We aim to arrive at the hotel by mid-afternoon, and you’ll have time to settle in and get ready for your evening meal.

Day 2-4

Start the day with a traditional breakfast before heading out on one of our included excursions. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel plus £2 bar.

Day 5

After a final breakfast, we make our way homewards, expecting to arrive during the late afternoon.

Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. The compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, and enjoy year-round festivals, theatre, music and sport while admiring Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture that is straight from a Jane Austen novel.

Glastonbury, Wells & Cheddar Gorge

Glastonbury is made famous by both its annual music festival and its mystic abbey which is connected with legend to a degree that is unparalleled by any other abbey in England. Since Medieval times, the abbey has held legendary status as the earliest Christian foundation in Britain linked to Joseph of Arimathea and the burial place of King Arthur. Today it is a tranquil setting where you can discover the stories and explore the accredited museum (entrance not included).

Wells is the smallest city in England nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills and famed for its medieval architecture. As well as its spectacular Gothic cathedral, Wells boasts the Bishop's Palace and Vicars' Close, said to be the oldest residential street in Europe. Wells has a wealth of fine eateries and fashionable shops.
There is always lots going on in the city and we will take you there on one of the bustling market days!

Visit Britain’s highest, inland limestone cliffs rising up 450ft and explore the depths of stunning stalactite caverns below that were created by Ice Age melt-waters over millions of years. It doesn’t matter whether you are interested in nature, history or geology, or just want to see some breath-taking views; you’ll find all facets of Cheddar Gorge & Caves, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.
