Enjoy a festive break to Weston-super-Mare which includes visits to Bath and Wells, Britain's smallest city.
Steeped in Victorian history, Weston-super-Mare is the gateway to the South West of England. Lucky to boast miles of golden sandy beaches, the resort is home to the flagship Grand Pier. Visit the legendary Playhouse Theatre, or ride the iconic donkeys on the beach. A bustling high street and independent shopping district make up the cosmopolitan town.
This elegant resort grew out of tiny fishing villages 200 years ago. The wonderful sweep of Weston Bay, with views over to Wales and down to Exmoor, is a never-ending source of satisfaction. Miles of broad, flat sandy beach are perfect for everyone. There’s also a summer’s worth of cafes, pubs, and restaurants which you can sit outside and watch the world go by.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Bath Christmas Market
The award-winning Bath Christmas Market is a firm favourite with Leisuretime customers, with over 180 twinkling chalets spread out across Bath’s picturesque Georgian streets, it’s the perfect place to do a spot of Christmas shopping.
Wells is the smallest city in England nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills and famed for its medieval architecture. As well as its spectacular Gothic cathedral Wells boasts the Bishop's Palace and Vicars' Close, said to be the oldest residential street in Europe. Wells has a wealth of fine eateries and fashionable shops. There is always lots going on in the city and we will take you there on one of it's bustling market days!
Glastonbury is a quirky, unique place to visit, best-known for its annual music festival. A compact town, everything worth seeing is within walking distance and one of the most refreshing aspects of Glastonbury is that it is not over commercialised. One of Glastonbury's claims is that it is perhaps the earliest Christian place in Britain. The Abbey which is in the centre of town is now a ruin, but a visit is still worthwhile. Glastonbury Abbey was established as a Benedictine monastery during the years 670 to 678 AD. Prior to that time, it had existed, for many years, as a Celtic religious centre. According to legend, 2000 years ago Joseph of Arimathea (Christ's uncle) is supposed to have brought the young Jesus here. Glastonbury Tor is also worth a visit and located just to the East of the town of Glastonbury. A 10-minute walk from the High Street and Abbey (well signposted) will take you past Chalice Well to the foot of the Tor.
Most memorable though might be the 'new age', mystic shops and the hippy like characters who have made Glastonbury their home. It is a mystic, myth and legend backdrop that weaves its way through everything you will visit and see at Glastonbury.
Visit Britain’s highest, inland limestone cliffs rising up 450ft and explore the depths of stunning stalactite caverns below that were created by Ice Age melt-waters over millions of years. It doesn’t matter whether you are interested in nature, history or geology, or just want to see some breath-taking views; you’ll find all facets of Cheddar Gorge & Caves, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.
You can see an array of flora including the Cheddar pink, early purple orchids and the rare Twin Cliffs, Gough’s Rock and Cheddar whitebeam. As well as an abundance of wildlife from insects such as small pearl-bordered fritillaries, violet oil beetles and green orb-weaver spiders to woodland birds like the great spotted woodpecker and tree creepers to the greater and lesser horseshoe bats who live in the caves
