Cabaret, coast and countryside on a great value festive mini break to Kent!

Let us whisk you away to the UK's leading entertainment hotel for this fabulous weekend break. This tour packs in wonderful tours to historic and pretty Canterbury, Sandwich and Deal. We stay in Folkestone, a busy harbour town which has an historic centre, shopping, bars and cafes.

Our hotel overlooks the harbour and is one of the best hotels in the UK for live entertainment with the impressive ballroom hosting live cabaret every night. Spindles Health and Leisure Club features an indoor pool and sauna, and there is also a modern gym.

Folkestone itself is packed with artistic enclaves, stunning shores, unique histories and expansive wildlife escapes. In its quaint regenerated streets, you’ll discover cutting-edge art in its unique Creative Quarter, which houses over 100 artistic enterprises within its cobbled centre. Explore pastel-painted studio-galleries, and indulge in quirky stores, laid-back bars and chic eateries. The mile-long cliff-top promenade of The Leas is just a short stroll away, offering sea views to France and a ride to the Lower Leas Coastal Park.

Excursions

Sandwich & Deal

Sandwich is one of England’s best-preserved medieval towns in England, and was once a pain port in Kent, as great sailing ships could travel up the River Stour. Today the boats are much smaller but the ancient buildings remain. The historic buildings, nature reserves, country pubs, cafés and restaurants make the port a must visit for tourists. Surrounding Sandwich are the picturesque villages of Eastry, Ash and Worth.
Deal is one of the prettiest seaside towns in Kent and very photogenic! The town is a smaller smuggling haunt, the seafront overlooking a pebble beach and the English Channel, and Deal Pier. In the town centre, wander the winding streets to see the pastel coloured buildings where fishermen’s cottages sit next to Georgian town houses. The town also has a thriving art scene, with plenty of galleries and museums to enjoy too, plus there are quirky independent and antique shops to browse too.

Canterbury

England’s most famous cathedral city sits in one of the most attractive corners of rural Kent. The majestic cathedral watches proudly over the charming, narrow streets and old buildings of this wondrous city - a delightful mix of architecture, history, art, culture, museums, shops of every description, visitor attractions and good restaurants...something for everyone! Don’t miss a guided tour of the city!
