Love Bournemouth at Christmas but looking for a bargain? Then look no further on this Bournemouth Christmas Holiday. Staying at the Britannia Bournemouth Hotel which is well located, comfortable and with a great programme of festive fun and entertainment PLUS an included excursion to Christchurch, the New Forest and Salisbury.
Internationally renowned for being one of Europe’s most fashionable resorts, Bournemouth attracts millions of visitors each year offering seven miles of golden sand, first class attractions, beautiful award-winning gardens as well as a variety of exciting shops, bars and cafes. The time before Christmas is a lovely time to visit this bustling resort and enjoy some bracing festive sea air!
Situated on a glorious stretch of the Dorset coastline there are wonderfully clean beaches, lovingly manicured parks and gardens, entertainment galore and super shopping. The town’s reputation for elegance led Thomas Hardy to describe it in ‘Tess of the d’Urbevilles’ as a ‘Mediterranean lounging-place on the English Channel’ with its cliffs interrupted by beautiful chines and scenery rich in pinewood. Set in over 2000 acres of public park it is not difficult to see why visitors return year after year…
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.

Christchurch & The New Forest
Christchurch with its choice of award-winning beaches, coastal nature reserves, heritage attractions and charming quay offers a great excursion destination. Two picturesque rivers, a stunning natural harbour, outdoor Splashpark and wonderful beaches offer the ideal holiday playground. The historic Priory Church and Castle ruins help give an ‘olde worlde’ charm to the attractive, bustling town centre with its range of independent shops, high street stores and regular markets, together with a packed events calendar there really is something for everyone! Enjoy a scenic tour through the New Forest and step back in time to discover the charm and natural beauty of this unique destination. The New Forest became a national park in 2005 and was once a royal hunting ground for William the Conqueror. It covers an area of 566 square kilometres and is made up of vast tracts of unspoilt woodland, heathland and river valleys. Today deer, ponies and cattle continue to roam free in its ancient heaths and woodland, so keep your eyes peeled!
‘The city in the countryside’ is surrounded by a landscape so quintessentially English it’s almost too good to be true. If you pause on the edge of the water-meadows to take in the awesome sight of the Cathedral rising up from these lush green fields, it’s easy to understand why Salisbury was named as one of the world's Top 10 Cities to visit by Lonely Planet. Within the Chapter House at Salisbury Cathedral you’ll find the best preserved of the four original Magna Carta manuscripts dating from 1215AD, celebrated within an exhibition at the Cathedral's Chapter House. Over 750 years of history, including Britain's tallest spire and Europe's oldest working clock, this is a must-see on your visit today.
