After a final breakfast, it is sadly time to make our way home. After stopping for a coffee/lunch break, we continue homewards.

York & River Ouse cruise

Renowned for its exquisite architecture, tangle of quaint cobbled streets, iconic York Minster and wealth of visitor attractions, York is a flourishing city. Delve into the city’s vibrant café culture, take time out to enjoy some of the country’s most talented street entertainers or simply watch the world go by while sipping a drink by the river. Visitors to York can enjoy hundreds of attractions, museums, historic buildings, tours, shops, restaurants and bars within the compact walled city. You’re never far from an awe-inspiring moment. We have also included a lovely scenic tour of York from the water on our city sightseeing cruise on the River Ouse.

Hull Old Quarter Guided Walking Tour & Free Time

Hull’s Old Quarter is a hidden treasure, with its cobbled High Street and reminders of the city’s past. On a guided tour of the Old Quarter, you’ll visit Ye Olde White Hart where the English Civil War was allegedly plotted, see the spot where Charles I was denied entry into Hull and see the smallest window in England in the George Hotel. Following the walking tour, you’ll have free time to shops and explore the city on your own.

Beverley & Chatsworth House

is one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets. Renowned for its 13th century Minster, the town is home to a thriving music scene, food festivals and medieval architecture. See the old buildings, shop at independent boutiques and enjoy food from a local seller.

Chatsworth House in Derbyshire is one of England’s best known country estates. Home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, the house has been passed down through 16 generations of the Cavendish family. The House contains thousands of works of art that span 4000 years and come from all over the world. Roman and Egyptian sculpture, masterpieces of Rembrandt and even modern art can be found at Chatsworth House. The House is surrounded by 105 acres of garden, cultivated over nearly 500 years. Chatsworth can also be seen on film too, including The Duchess and Pride and Prejudice.
