Thistle Express Swindon
This comfortable budget hotel is set in the heart of Swindon and offers guests a casual bar and lounge area along with well equipped modern bedrooms.
After joining the coach from one of our convenient pick up points, we head for Winchester, aiming to arrive in the early afternoon and staying on to enjoy the market until rejoining the coach and heading on to our overnight hotel, the lovely Thistle Express Swindon, in the early evening.
After a hearty breakfast we make our way to Bath to enjoy free time. Wander the city and explore until mid-afternoon at which point we re-join our coach and start our journey home.
Winchester Christmas Market
Winchester Cathedral’s Christmas Market is recognised as one of the best Christmas Markets in Europe because of its unique location, high quality exhibitors and range of over 100 stalls with fun and entertainment aplenty.
Built for pleasure and relaxation, beautiful Bath has been a wellbeing destination since Roman times. The waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the thoroughly modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain you can bathe in. The compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain. Immerse yourself in Bath’s remarkable collection of museums and galleries, while admiring Bath's stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture that is straight from a Jane Austen novel. For a special treat enjoy the grandeur of the world famous Pump Room for afternoon tea, and a sample of the healing Bath waters taken by the city's famous residents for hundreds of years. For something simpler but just as historic try a delicious Sally Lunn Bunn served in the famous eating house or to take away, made to the same recipe since 1680!
