Further Information

Please Note: 12ATAV 18 September 2017 departures will coincide with Almabtrieb Festival in Alpbachtal, which we will include an excursion. The Almabtrieb Festival celebrates the cows returning from the summer pastures and is a spectacular event where hundreds of cows are driven through the valleys, with their horns gaily decorated with garlands. Local villages put together events such as fairs, perhaps a farmers' market, food and drink and lots of music. The party goes on long after the cows have come home!
