5-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Make your own way to London Heathrow for the flight to Geneva. On arrival, we take the train to Montreux and take a short walk to our hotel where we check in.
Montreux is located in a sheltered bay on Lake Geneva, surrounded by vineyards and snow-capped Alps. Due to its mild climate, it is often referred to as the Swiss Riviera.
This evening, we enjoy a welcome dinner in the hotel.

Day 2 - Chillon Castle, Vevey & Lavaux Vineyards with Wine Tasting
This morning, we include a visit to the historic Chillon Castle, one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Europe. Located on a rock on the banks of Lake Geneva, it is the most visited historic building in Switzerland. As each courtyard, hall or room unveils a part of the castle's history, the visit here is like stepping back in time, as you stroll through the history of this incredible building.
Afterwards, we continue to the charming town of Vevey. You’ll have some free time to explore at leisure, strolling along the lakeside promenade and past the statue of Charlie Chaplin, and discovering the old town. Why not have some lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants?
Later, we journey by train to the UNESCO-listed Lavaux Vineyards. At 800 hectares, the terraced vineyards of the Lavaux region form Switzerland's largest vineyard area, with terrace after terrace offering magnificent views. We enjoy a tasting at a local vineyard, overlooking glistening Lake Geneva, before returning to Montreux by train.

Day 3 - GoldenPass Express & Glacier 3000
Today, we travel on the GoldenPass Express Panoramic Train from Montreux to Gstaad. The Panoramic Express is part of the famous Golden Pass Line so sit back and relax and take in the view as we travel from the banks of Lake Geneva and climb to the town of Gstaad. From here, we take the local bus and cable car to Glacier 3000 where you’ll have free time.
The various look out points at Glacier 3000 offer panoramic views of 24 snow-capped peaks above 4000 metres including the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, the Matterhorn and even Mont Blanc in the distance. If you’re feeling brave, you could visit the Peak Walk by Tissot – the only suspension bridge in the world between two peaks!
We return to Montreux by train and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 4 - Free Time
Today is at leisure to explore Montreux at your leisure.
During your free time, make use of your included Montreux Riviera Card where you can use public transport free of charge, as well as receiving numerous discounts on admissions, guided tours and other activities in the area.
Why not stop off at one of Montreux’s many cafés, with wonderful views to enjoy of the Alps and Lake Geneva? Take a leisurely walk through the picturesque old town, where you can also find the Church of St. Vincent, or stroll along the lakeside promenade to the statue of Freddie Mercury. If you'd like, you can also take the cogwheel railway up to the Rochers-de-Naye, where you can enjoy sensational views of the Swiss and French Alps.
This evening, we gather for a farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 5
After breakfast, we take the train from Montreux to Geneva airport for the return flight to London Heathrow.
