5-Day Itinerary

• Day 1

  Local departure by coach, then on to Paris for a four-night stay.

• Day 2 - Paris; Paris Latin Quarter

  Full-day included visit to the cosmopolitan city of Paris. A large portion of the capital, including the River Seine, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and to make the most of your visit why not join our optional guided sightseeing tour? Our local guide will introduce you to some of the city’s famous sights. (Please note that due to on-going roadworks and restoration works, some sights may not be accessible by coach.)

  This evening, be sure to take advantage of our optional visit into the Latin Quarter, a bustling area of restaurants, cafés and souvenir shops to the south of the Ile de la Cité and Notre Dame. Here you can enjoy the atmosphere and sample the local bars and restaurants.

• Day 3 - Versailles Gardens; Paris by Night

  Explore Paris independently, or why not join our optional visit to Versailles, home to the famous Château and its beautiful gardens. Located on the western outskirts of Paris and originally created for Louis XIV, the Château of Versailles has been a member of the UNESCO World Heritage list for over 30 years.

  At Versailles, you can choose to admire the magnificent gardens or spend time exploring the interior of the château. If visiting the gardens, enjoy a relaxing stroll along Versailles’ own Grand Canal, or why not discover the many fountains and pools, some of which are fine examples of sculpture.

  If you choose to visit the Château then there are several admission tickets available depending on what you would like to see. (Entrance to the Gardens is included. Château entrance is at extra cost and subject to local queueing times. Ticket prices vary depending on the type of ticket you purchase, but approximate cost is between €17 and €27).

  We return to our hotel late afternoon and then this evening, there will be the opportunity to join our optional ‘Paris by Night’ tour which includes a three-course meal in a typical restaurant, with house wine included.

  A second included visit to Paris giving you the chance to enjoy even more of this great city.

Accommodation

You will stay for three or four nights at the 3-star Originals City Le Cardinal Rueil Centre Hotel in Rueil-Malmaison on the western outskirts of Paris.

Upgrade Your Hotel

Alternatively, from only £40pp, you can upgrade to the 4-star Holiday Inn Paris Versailles-Bougival, or for 2023 Novotel Rueil Malmaison, located on the western outskirts of Paris.
