9-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to northern France for an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Sanary-sur-Mer
We head south to reach the Provençal resort town of Sanary-sur-Mer for a six-night stay.

Day 3 - Bandol & Cassis
An included excursion takes us first to Bandol, famed for its fine red wines, which are often served cold. Here, you can wander the tree-lined promenade and admire the yachts in the bustling harbour.
We continue to picturesque Cassis, which has managed to retain the old-world charm of a small fishing village with its colourful, pastel buildings – perfect for sitting with a coffee and watching the world go by. The area is famous for the impressive inlets and white cliffs of the Calanques, standing high above the beautiful turquoise sea.

Day 4 - Aix-en-Provence
Today we visit the delightful, former capital of Provence, Aix-en-Provence, known as the ‘City of a Thousand Fountains’. Explore the medieval centre with its charming streets and lanes, leading to squares lined with grand buildings. This was the home to the artist, Paul Cezanne, and his legacy can be found throughout the city. Watch the world go by from a pavement café on the elegant, tree-lined Cours Mirabeau.

Day 5 - Sanary-sur-Mer
Enjoy a full day to relax and explore Sanary-sur-Mer, with its pretty pink and white buildings and medieval tower. This charming, little seaside town boasts a pretty, colourful harbour lined with cafés, restaurants and bars. Wednesday is market day, and you can spend some time browsing for souvenirs.

Day 6 - Free Time or Saint Tropez & Bormes-les-Mimosas
Relax and explore at your own pace or join our optional excursion as we visit the playground of the rich. We head first to Saint Tropez, a favoured resort and the inspiration for so many artists. The town has managed to retain a charming ambience, despite its popularity. See the pretty Quai Jean-Jaurè, lined with beautiful painted houses.
For a contrast, we later visit Bormes-les-Mimosas, a medieval hilltop village offering magnificent views across the coast. Here you can explore the streets of the picturesque old town.

Day 7 - Hyères
We visit the village of Hyères, regarded as one of the oldest resorts on the French Riviera. Stroll down the tree-lined promenade and admire the fine Belle Epoque architecture, or relax in the pretty gardens and explore the charming old town where you'll find boutiques and outdoor cafés.

Day 8
We leave Sanary-sur-Mer and head north to our overnight hotel in northern France.
