Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Meet at the Bosworth Hall Hotel, Market Bosworth by 14:00. Afternoon visit to Kirby Muxloe, the residence of William Lord Hastings, who was executed for treason by Richard III in 1483. Return to hotel for introductory lecture. Group dinner.

  • Day 2 - Battle of Bosworth

    We drive to Dadlington to visit the site of the Battle of Bosworth 1485, and then on to the Bosworth Battlefield Centre to enjoy the events taking place today.

  • Day 3 - Fotheringhay & Leicester

    In the morning we check out of our hotel and visit Fotheringhay, the birthplace of Richard. We will then travel on to Leicester to explore the Richard III Visitors' Centre, located on the site where the King’s remains were discovered and Leicester Cathedral, to see Richard III Tomb and Memorial. We shall have a group lunch in Leicester and return to the hotel at approx 15:30. You are free to depart at your leisure.
