Day 1
Make your own way to our hotel, where you meet our experienced Tour Manager and enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner.

Day 2 - West Somerset Railway & Dunster
This morning, we board our coach and travel to the charming village of Bishops Lydeard, the starting point of our journey on the West Somerset Railway to Minehead. Spanning over 20 miles, the route offers a panoramic view of Somerset's stunning landscape, with highlights including the remote hills of Exmoor, the striking vistas of the Devon coast, and the breathtaking Quantock Hills – recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Following this, we make our way to the quaint, historic village of Dunster. Dunster boasts a wealth of listed buildings, and overlooking the village is Dunster Castle, which offers spectacular views.

Day 3 - Lynton & Barnstaple Railway and Lynton & Lynmouth Funicular Cliff Railway
Today, our coach takes us to Woody Bay Station, where we join the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway for a memorable 2-mile round journey through the heart of the beautiful North Devon landscape countryside before our coach takes us to Lynton.
A fantastic experience is next as we enjoy a ride on the Victorian Funicular Cliff Railway. This unique water-powered lift takes you up to the town of Lynmouth, offering breathtaking views of the North Devon coastline along the way. Explore each town's array of charming curio, pottery and souvenir shops, and don’t miss the local history museum.

Day 4 - South Devon Railway, Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat
Today, we start our day at Buckfastleigh, boarding on the South Devon Railway. This 7-mile journey takes us on a scenic route alongside the River Dart to Totnes. Once at Totnes, we join a boat cruise service and wind our way through a valley brimming with natural beauty until we reach Dartmouth, a picturesque fishing town filled with quaint streets, sweeping steps and historic buildings.
After free time, we board the foot ferry to Kingswear and then join the Dartmouth Steam Railway to Paignton, covering 7 awe-inspiring miles alongside the breathtaking Torbay shoreline and through lush, forested terrains.

After breakfast, you are free to check out of our hotel and make your own way home or even take the opportunity to explore Tiverton.
