Itinerary

10 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1

Fly to Vancouver where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

  • Day 2 - Vancouver

A full day at leisure provides ample time to take in Vancouver’s sights and attractions, or, take a ferry across the island-dotted strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. The capital city of British Columbia, Victoria, is a unique blend of old world charm and new world experiences. Combined with the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and rain forests set against a backdrop of the Olympic Mountains, a visit to Victoria makes for the perfect day trip.

  • Day 3 - Vancouver - Seattle

Today’s journey takes us across the Canada/U.S. border to the jewel of the Pacific Northwest, Seattle. Set on the waterfront and framed by snow-capped mountains, Seattle is a sophisticated city that offers visitors a real sampling of Northwest life.

The Downtown Seattle Waterfront is a great place to take in the views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains, and no visit would be complete without strolling through the grounds at the Seattle Center, and checking out the spectacular view from the Space Needle’s 520-foot high observation deck!

  • Day 4 - Seattle - Mt. Rainier - Mt. St. Helens - Portland

We depart this morning for Portland, Oregon’s largest city and one of the world’s best walking cities. En-route, we visit Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St. Helens; both are active volcanoes and part of the Northwest’s 'ring of fire'. Ascending to 14,410 feet above sea level and often shrouded in clouds, Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S. and just south of Mount Rainier is Mount St Helens, the youngest and most active volcano in the contiguous U.S.

  • Day 5 - Portland - Newport - Oregon Dunes - Coos Bay

Today, we enjoy a scenic drive along Oregon’s coastline, where spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding forests await.

We travel south through Newport and the heart of the central coast to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Extending for over 40 miles, Oregon Dunes features wind-sculpted sand dunes that tower up to 500 feet above sea level.

  • Day 6 - Coos Bay - Redwood National Park - Eureka

Continuing south, the rugged Oregon coastline offers stunning views, endless beaches, crashing waves and beautiful lighthouses; while California’s spectacular Redwood Coast offers sparkling beaches, cascading rivers, quiet countryside, historic communities and a forest as old as the dinosaurs! Nearly half of the remaining old growth redwoods can be found in Redwood National Park, including giants that tower five stories taller than the Statue of Liberty.

  • Day 7 - Eureka - Sonoma

We continue south en-route to northern California’s wine country. Home to perfect grape growing conditions, dazzling seasonal displays of colour and a warm Mediterranean climate, this region possess some of the most famous wineries in the world.

  • Day 8 - Sonoma - San Francisco

This morning, cross the Golden Gate Bridge, an engineering marvel and one of the most beloved bridges in the world, before arriving in San Francisco.

  • Day 9 - San Francisco

Enjoy free time at leisure to explore San Francisco and its highlights before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
