Itinerary

10-Day Itinerary

  • Day 1 - London – Barcelona

    Make your own way to London, then travel aboard the Eurostar from London to Paris, then continue by rail to Barcelona followed by a coach transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 2 - Barcelona – Madrid

    Barcelona is a world-class destination filled with art, culture and beauty. Our guided tour is a great way to see the highlights, including Las Ramblas and the romantic gothic quarter with its stunning cathedral. In the afternoon, we take the train to Madrid then a coach transfer to our hotel which will be our base for the next two nights.

  • Day 3 - Madrid

    Join our included guided tour by coach to see the highlights of Madrid, the vibrant capital of Spain, which is filled with magnificent architecture and famous landmarks. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore at leisure and discover even more of Madrid’s remarkable attractions.

  • Day 4 - Madrid – Tangier

    After breakfast, we travel by coach to Madrid railway station and take the train to Algeciras. From here, we transfer by coach to Algeciras Port where we board the ferry for the magical city of Tangier. On arrival into Tangier, we are transferred by coach to our hotel.

  • Day 5 - Tangier – Chefchaouen

    We travel by coach to Chefchaouen, one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, where buildings and pathways are painted every shade of blue. You are free to explore the hideaway village set in the mountains, where there is plenty to see with colourful spice stalls of the medina, a 15th century fortress, art exhibits and, in the shady main square, a red-walled Kasbah. Return to the hotel by coach.

  • Day 6 - Tangier – Casablanca

    We travel by train to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, made famous by the 1942 film of the same name. Our tour takes in the old quarters of the Medina and the modern lively town. This afternoon we visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the few mosques which still opens its doors to tourists. Return back to our hotel by rail.

  • Day 7 - Casablanca – Marrakech

    A coach transfer takes us to Casablanca station for the rail journey to Marrakech. From the Marrakech station, the coach picks us up and takes us to the hotel.

  • Day 8 - Marrakech

    Situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is a modern city that still retains much of its Moroccan tradition and charm. We start with a guided walking tour to introduce us to the highlights of this city, with its historic ramparts, elegant mosques and bustling souks. You are then free to explore at leisure.

  • Day 9 - Marrakech

    Enjoy a free day in Marrakech. Explore the bustling medina, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Jemaa El Fnaa, bargain for a souvenir in the maze of souks or watch the sunset behind the Koutoubia Mosque.

  • Day 10 - Marrakech – London

    We are transferred to Marrakech airport for our return flight to London Gatwick.
