Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to the Paris area for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Continuing south to Spain, we arrive at Malgrat de Mar in the evening.

Day 3 - Blanes Local Market
We enjoy a morning excursion to this fantastic local market to enjoy a wide variety of local specialities, available to sample and buy. With everything from freshly caught seafood to delicious fresh fruits and expertly crafted olive oils, there is an array of produce to try!

Day 4 - Barcelona
The Catalan capital, Barcelona, is a remarkable city to explore at leisure, with its wonderful architecture and bustling atmosphere.
Admire Antoni Gaudi’s incredible Modernist creations, including the as-yet-unfinished Sagrada Familia, and spend time shopping along the famous Las Ramblas boulevard. This mesmerising city is known for its excellent attractions as much for its delicious cuisine, so be sure to sample some of the local food during our time here.

Day 5 - Free Time or Besalu
Join our optional excursion to Besalu, which was an important town during the Middle Ages, with its territory extending as far as France and being designated a historic national property by the Spanish government in 1966.
The town is particularly famous for its 12th-century bridge over the Fluvia River. It is a great place to wander through history with a number of buildings dating back almost 1,000 years, still laid out in their original street configuration.

Day 6 - Free Time
Spend the day at leisure in the wonderful Malgrat de Mar.

Day 7 - Free Time or Girona
Girona is one of Catalonia’s major cities, and our optional trip here will be spent at leisure, so we can discover this excellent location to our hearts' content.
With lots of sights to enjoy, we’re sure to be kept busy during our visit! There are the ancient city walls and towers which mark the entrance to Girona’s Old Town, plus Girona Cathedral, dating from 1015. This cathedral is home to the world’s widest Gothic nave, although it isn’t the only prominent religious building in Girona – there’s also the Sant Pere de Galligants church, and the Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu.

We depart Malgrat de Mar and make the journey to the Paris area for an overnight stay.
