Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door Service then on to Belmont Hotel in Sidmouth for a four-night stay.
From the castellated entrance to a warm greeting by our frock-coated doorman, you will realise you are in a world apart. In a prime location only yards from the beach and the Esplanade, our luxury hotel maintains the impeccable standards of a bygone age.

Day 2 - South Devon Railway with Cream Tea & Buckfast Abbey
Today, we journey along the South Devon Railway. With a lovely, scenic route along the River Dart between Buckfastleigh and Totnes, the railway is a beloved tourist attraction. Home to a range of vintage locomotives and carriages, it is the longest established steam railway in the South West.
We then enjoy a visit to Buckfast Abbey. Located in Dartmoor National Park, it is a work of early 20th-century craftsmanship, built by Benedictine monks. A place of true historical and religious significance, today the abbey is home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine monks.

Day 3 - Exeter
Today, we visit Exeter. With a rich and long history, an imposing Roman wall, and the beautiful Quayside, Exeter is a charming and vibrant city. Home to the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum, visitors can explore the city’s 2,000-year history under one roof! The city, situated on the River Ex, also features the iconic Exeter Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.
For November and December departures, Exeter also hosts a wonderful Christmas market.

Day 4 - Exmouth & Stuart Line Cruise
Today we visit Exmouth, one of the oldest and most scenic seaside towns in Devon. Known for its two miles of sandy beach, the town is framed by the majestic cliffs of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can visit the fabulous independent shops and dine at wonderful restaurants.
For summer departures, we board the Stuart Line Cruise. Sit back and relax as we see England’s only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast, from the water. We sail through time, taking in the most incredible views of this 185-million-year-old geological portrait.
For November and December departures, we embark on a festive cruise experience with Stuart Lines. Along calm and sheltered waters of the River Exe, we enjoy covered, heated lower decks and cosy blankets, as well as great views from the upper outside deck. On this festively decorated boat, enjoy a homemade mulled wine and warm mince pie.
