The carriages are pulled by diesel or steam locomotives, through the Brohl Valley where you will see volcanic formations, stone viaducts, castles and a monastery as you meander through the countryside.
After arrival in Engeln the train will take us past the half-timbered station at Burgbrohl, and on to Brohl. Our coach will meet us at Brohl, and we return to our hotel in Remagen.
