6-Day Itinerary

• Day 1

  Make your own way to London St. Pancras International where you will meet your friendly Tour Manager and board the Eurostar to Paris. We then continue by connecting rail to Annecy, where we are transferred by coach to our hotel in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.

• Day 2 - Saint-Gervais-les-Bains

  Enjoy a leisurely day relaxing at the hotel or exploring our resort. Our hotel is situated in the typical alpine village of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains ideally located at the foot of Mont Blanc and is just a 10-minute walk from the heart of the pretty village where you’ll find shops, bars and restaurants. We include a 3-course lunch at the hotel today plus an evening meal tonight.

• Day 3 - The Mont Blanc Express

  Today, we join the Mont Blanc Express for a scenic railway journey to Chamonix. This famous resort sits 1,035 metres above sea level in the shadow of Mont Blanc and is surrounded by stunning glaciers, snow-capped peaks and lush green meadows. We have plenty of time to admire the views before taking the Montenvers rack railway, which climbs to 1,913 metres through forests, tunnels and over viaducts, before opening up to a stunning panorama with the Mer de Glacé below. There are shops, bars, restaurants, and a fascinating ice cave – bring your camera and capture a day of spectacular views! We return to the hotel by coach and enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

• Day 4 - Lake Annecy

  Today, we transfer by coach to Lake Annecy, where you'll have the day to explore at leisure. The combination of narrow traffic-free streets, delightful bridges, and colourful houses bedecked with flowers make it a wonderful place to explore. Be sure to visit the Palais de I’Isle, the 13th-century Château d’Annecy, and the popular picnic spot of Champs de Mars where you can cross Lovers’ Bridge and walk along the lake edge to a public garden and a beach. The lake itself is full of life – why not take a boat trip and admire some of the most crystal-clear waters in Europe?

  We return to the hotel by coach and enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

• Day 5 - Yvoire

  This morning is free to relax at the hotel or explore the local market where you can pick up some fresh produce. This afternoon we travel by coach to the lakeside village of Yvoire on the shores of magnificent Lake Geneva. This picturesque medieval village is a maze of narrow cobbled streets and stone houses sloping down to the edge of the water.

  We return to the hotel by coach, enjoying our final meal this evening.

• Day 6

  We travel back to Paris by connecting trains, where we join the Eurostar for the return journey back to London St. Pancras International. After arriving in London, you will make your own way home.
