  • Day 3 - Rock of Cashel & Cahir

Enjoy our included excursion to see the Rock of Cashel, widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most spectacular sights. Cashel is in the heart of the county of Tipperary and the Rock of Cashel was once known as St Patrick’s Rock and the Cashel of the Kings. The area and rock is steeped in history dating back to the 5th century, all waiting for you to explore. Afterwards we continue to the pretty town of Cahir for free time.

  • Day 4 - Free Time or Kilkenny

Today join our optional excursion to the attractive city of Kilkenny on the banks of the River Nore, with its Elizabethan architecture and winding passages and lanes. Kilkenny has a fascinating medieval history and a thriving crafts industry. See the magnificent 12th century Kilkenny Castle which overlooks the River Nore and the Kilkenny Design Craft Centre home to a selection of Irish hand crafted gifts in the city or why not visit the Medieval Mile Museum in the heart of St Mary’s church filled with artefacts and sculptures. If you would like to taste a different local drink, that isn’t the ‘black stuff’ called Guinness why not join our optional excursion to the Smithwick’s Experience home of the famous Irish ales which has been brewed in Kilkenny since 1710 and is now exported around the world. You will have a guided tour of the brewery museum and then at the end of the tour you can sample a pint of either the Red Ale, Pale Ale or Blonde Ale before visiting the gift shop and then exploring the rest of the town.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5 - Dublin

We leave our hotel and head to Dublin. On arrival our optional sightseeing tour will give you a taste of this fascinating city. The tour is a panoramic one, seeing beautiful buildings of significance like Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The National Art Gallery and the Four Courts. Dublin is a beautiful Georgian city and highlights will be the magnificence of Georgian Dublin with visits to some of the superb squares. Dublin is also home to the Guinness Storehouse should you wish to pay homage to Dublin’s most famous drink and see a panorama of Dublin from its glassed Gravity Bar.
