  • Day 3 - Merano

Our included excursion takes us through beautiful castle-clad mountains to the delightful spa-town of Merano, famous for the therapeutic properties of its waters. The historic centre is the oldest and also liveliest district of Merano. Here you can amble along the streets and visit some of the many shops which are mainly concentrated in the medieval arcades. The Passeggiata promenade stretches along the Passirio River and invites you to take a pleasant walk in all seasons of the year. As you walk along this promenade you will come across some great historic buildings such as the Kurhaus and the bridge over the Passirio River takes you to the famous thermal baths. During your visit to Merano, be sure to treat yourself and sample some of the pastries in one of the chic coffee shops.

  • Day 4 - Brenta Dolomites

The majestic Brenta Dolomites beckon us today on our fantastic included excursion (weather permitting). First we visit the idyllic resort of Madonna di Campiglio, set in dense pine forests and towered over by breathtaking mountains. It is one of the most famous resorts of the Trentino region and is a paradise for skiers and winter sports lovers. You will have time at leisure before we continue to Andalo. Andalo is located on a plateau between the Brenta Group and Paganella Massif. The town is a popular sport tourist destination and is equipped with an ultra-modern ski lift system, which runs all year round. After free time in Andalo, we return to our hotel in time for our evening meal.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5 - Trento

Today’s optional excursion takes us through sweeping mountains and undulating valleys to Trento. Regarded as the most attractive town in the Trentino region, Trento is home of the spectacular Piazza del Duomo, once used by the Romans as their forum. The city is rooted in art and history, where Italian and central European cultures meet. See the Castello del Buonconsiglio, which has been the residence of the Prince Bishops of Trento for several centuries. Also, see the Piazza del Duomo or Market Square, where a Baroque fountain of Neptune now stands in the centre. Around the square stands the cathedral, the Law Courts, the Municipal Tower and houses painted with 16th century allegorical frescoes.
