Itinerary

  • Day 1

Fly to Cork, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Rosscarbery for three nights.

    Meals - Dinner

  • Day 2 - Free Time or Cork & Blarney

Today you have a chance to join our optional excursion to Blarney, where you can explore the village, or visit the castle, which incorporates the famous ‘Blarney Stone’ (entrance extra). Tradition has it that kissing the stone will bestow upon the kisser the art of flattery and successful lying! Next stop is Cork, Ireland’s third city. With its long maritime connection, like Venice, Cork is built on the water, with the city centre blossoming from an island on the River Lee. You will find myriad bridges and quays adding to the romance and personality of this picturesque city.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 3 - Kinsale

Join our included excursion to Kinsale. Ireland’s gourmet capital, Kinsale is a beautiful harbour town and a joy to explore with its narrow, winding streets. Perhaps enjoy lunch on the quayside.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 4 - Skibbereen, Bantry & Kenmare

We leave Rosscarbery and make a brief stop in Skibbereen, and later, the picturesque resort of Bantry. We head into County Kerry, making a brief stop in the market town of Kenmare before we arrive for a three-night stay at our hotel in the resort of Tralee.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5 - Killarney & the Ring of Kerry & a Jaunting Car Ride

See dramatic scenery and the picturesque fishing villages of the Ring of Kerry on our included excursion. Later, in Killarney take an optional ride on the jaunting cars (pony and trap rides) and enjoy the infectious humour of the families who have run them for generations.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 6 - Dingle Peninsula

Tralee is the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula which we explore today on our included excursion, where breathtaking views abound. This beautiful corner of Ireland has provided the backdrop to so many films, including ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ and ‘Far and Away’. Each turn provides a spectacular view of long, sandy beaches, steep cliffs and hidden bays. The peninsula is dominated by the range of mountains that form its spine, running from the Slieve Mish to Mount Brandon, Ireland’s second-highest peak.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 7

Travel to the airport for your flight home.
