Day 4 - Free Time or The Hague, Scheveningen & Delft
Join our optional excursion, which takes us firstly to The Hague, then to the neighbouring seaside town of Scheveningen and lastly to Delft, famed for its pottery. Despite its imposing and impressive skyline, The Hague is one of Holland’s greenest cities on account of the many leafy lanes and vast parks. You will have time at leisure here, to explore all the ‘city’ has to offer. This afternoon we travel to the popular Dutch seaside resort of Scheveningen. With wide sandy beaches, pleasant promenade, picturesque harbour, seaside shops, casino and superb eateries there really is something for everyone. From Scheveningen we continue to the charming town of Delft. With Grand houses, arched bridges, courtyards and narrow alleys, Delft is traditionally Dutch in appearance, but it is for the production of ceramic pottery that the town is most famous.
