Day 1
Fly to Moscow, where you will be met by our local tour representative/guide and transferred to your hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 2 - Moscow
Your taste of Russia begins with an included, guided sightseeing tour of the principal sights and attractions of the city, including Red Square, the Kremlin, and St. Basil’s Cathedral. Later, you will have time at leisure to explore. Take a journey on the beautiful metro system, where many of the stations are decorated with chandeliers, ornate mosaics and fine marble.

Day 3 - Free Time or the Kremlin & Moscow Armoury
Join our fantastic, optional visit, first to the Kremlin, once the former residence of the Russian Tsars, but today, Russia’s political nerve centre. This mesmerising complex of towers, domed cathedrals and palaces offers an intriguing insight into Russia’s turbulent history. We continue on to the Moscow Armoury, the treasury of the Russian Tsars, boasting a unique collection of state regalia, thrones, carriages and coronation dresses of the 16th to 19th centuries and ten of the world-famous Fabergé eggs. We leave Moscow on the high-speed train to St. Petersburg, then transfer to our hotel for a four-night stay.

Day 4 - St. Petersburg
Enjoy our included, guided sightseeing tour, which will introduce you to the famous landmarks, history and culture of this outstanding city. We will see the magnificent Decembrist’s Square; the Winter Palace, inspired by the Palace of Versailles; St. Isaac’s Cathedral, an enormous structure that can accommodate 13,000 people; and the Peter and Paul Fortress, which became a notorious prison for revolutionaries.

Day 5 - Free Time or the State Hermitage Museum
A day at leisure for you to explore the many other beautiful and historic sights of St. Petersburg. You will have the opportunity to join an optional visit to the remarkable State Hermitage Museum. Made up of six majestic buildings, including the Winter Palace, the Little and Large Hermitage buildings and the Hermitage Theatre, the museum holds one of the finest ensembles of art, tsarist jewels and treasures in the world.

Day 6 - Petrodvorets
Join our optional excursion to the magnificent imperial palace of Petrodvorets, dramatically placed on the Gulf of Finland. Explore the beautiful 2,500-acre landscaped gardens, with their intricate fountain. Admire the spectacular Baroque and Rococo interiors, whilst our expert guide will take you through the history of Petrodvorets.

Day 7
Transfer to St. Petersburg Railway Station for the return journey by train to Moscow. Upon arrival in Moscow, we are transferred to our hotel for an overnight stay.
