12-Day Itinerary

• Day 1

  Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to northern France for an overnight stay.

• Day 2 - Rhine Falls

  We continue to our hotel in St. Gallen. On the way we will visit the impressive Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall, which provides a dramatic welcome to the Swiss landscape.

• Day 3 - St. Gallen & Appenzell Cheese Factory with Guided Tour

  Discover the charm of St. Gallen this morning with its stunning Abbey of Saint Gall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the historic old town, where picturesque streets and fascinating architecture await you.

  After exploring St. Gallen, we continue to the renowned Appenzell Cheese Factory. Enjoy an informative guided tour and witness the traditional cheese-making process. We arrive in Klosters this evening and our hotel for the next three nights.

• Day 4 - Davos & Schatzalp Funicular

  Embark on a scenic journey to the Alpine resort of Davos, where nature and luxury combine. Experience the highlight of your day, a ride on the funicular railway to the beautiful Schatzalp. As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Swiss Alps. At the top, take in the tranquil beauty of the resort and the stunning landscape that stretches out before you.

• Day 5 - Free Time in Klosters or the Arosa Railway

  Enjoy some free time in Klosters today, a resort renowned for being a skiing destination for the Royal Family, or join our optional excursion to ride aboard the Arosa Railway. This historic journey takes you through picturesque landscapes, winding through charming villages and stunning alpine scenery. Enjoy the breathtaking views as the train ascends to the beautiful resort town of Arosa, making for an unforgettable experience.

• Day 6 - Glacier Express Route

  After breakfast, we check out and embark on a train journey along the famous Glacier Express Route from Chur to Andermatt, enjoying the scenic Swiss landscapes along the way. Climb through unforgettable scenery to the summit of the Oberalp Massif before arriving in Andermatt and continue to the Hotel Seeblick, where you’ll be treated to a spectacular view of Lake Lucerne.

• Day 7 - Lake Brienz Cruise & Jungfrau Regional Railway

  We travel to Brienz this morning, where a scenic boat cruise across the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz awaits you. Sit back and take in the breathtaking Alpine panorama as you glide towards Interlaken. Continue by coach to the charming mountain village of Grindelwald.

  A true highlight of the day is the journey along the famous Jungfrau Railway route from Grindelwald via Eigergletscher and Kleine Scheidegg to Lauterbrunnen. Enjoy a spectacular experience surrounded by majestic peaks and stunning landscapes.

• Day 8 - Lucerne & Free Time or Mount Pilatus Cable Car

  Discover the charm of Lucerne on an excursion to one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities. Stroll through the historic old town with its charming squares and iconic landmarks.

  During the day, you will have the option of enjoying an unforgettable ascent by gondola cable car to the summit of Mount Pilatus, where breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lakes await.

• Day 9 - GoldenPass Express

  Experience another memorable highlight as you board the elegant GoldenPass Express for a rail journey from Interlaken to Montreux. Relax in comfort while the scenery transforms from majestic alpine peaks to the palm-lined shores of the Swiss Riviera, offering ever-changing panoramic views along the way. A must for all railway lovers!

  On arrival in Montreux, we continue to the Victoria Hotel in Villars.

• Day 10 - Montreux & Mont Blanc Express

  After breakfast, discover the elegant town of Montreux, beautifully set along the shores of Lake Geneva and known for its charming promenade and refined atmosphere.

  Afterwards, we ride the Mont Blanc Express through breathtaking Alpine landscapes, from Martigny to Chamonix, passing charming villages, dramatic gorges and stunning mountain views.

• Day 11

  We depart Switzerland this morning with amazing memories and continue to northern France for an overnight stay.

Accommodation

You will stay for one night in the 4-star Hotel Einstein in St. Gallen, three nights in the 4-star Silvretta Parkhotel in Klosters, three nights in the 3-star Seeblick Hohenhotel in Emmetten and two nights at the 4-star Victoria Hotel & Residence in Villars-sur-Ollon.

Overnight stays in France will be in city-style hotels.
