New Year's Eve - Füssen & Hohenschwangau
Today our superb included excursion takes us to Bavaria and the lovely town of Fussen, situated at the southern end of the Romantic Road. You will have time at leisure to discover the medieval centre of this charming town located above the River Lech. We then continue to the village of Hohenschwangau. Here you will have the opportunity to photograph Neuschwanstein (weather permitting), the fairytale castle of Mad King Ludwig. This romantic castle, upon which Walt Disney based Sleeping Beauty’s Palace, is one of Germany’s most popular images.

New Year's Day - Swiss Glacier Express & Vaduz
Happy New Year! We celebrate the New Year with an unforgettable ride on the famous Swiss Glacier Express. We board the train in Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland and travel through the magnificent scenery of the Swiss Alps to the charming ski resort of Andermatt. Please note the journey onboard the Swiss Glacier Express may operate in reverse from Andermatt to Chur. Your coach crew will advise whilst on tour.

Jan 2 - Day at leisure or St. Anton & Lech
A day at leisure today or why not join our optional excursion to the beautiful alpine towns of St. Anton and Lech. Situated on the Arlberg massif and surrounded by alpine peaks and wooded hills, St Anton is famous as a winter resort on account of its outstanding natural scenery. Home to approximately 2500 inhabitants, St. Anton has a charming atmosphere where crisp, clean mountain air is always guaranteed. Take a stroll down the pedestrian precinct where you can sit back and relax in one of the cafes or restaurants.
