Local departure by coach, then to Belgium for a three-night stay.
Day 2 - Floralies Ghent
See the city of Ghent burst into bloom and a sea of colour.Taking place every four years, Floralies re-opens its doors in early May 2022 at Ghent's Citadelpark, drawing inspiration from the great artist Van Eyck. The theme for 2022 is 'My Paradise, a Global Garden'. This flower and plant exhibition showcases some of the finest horticultural treasures. The first exhibition took place in a pub in 1809 where around 50 plants competed for the honour. Over the years the event has built up a strong reputation for itself as the must-attend exhibition of the horticultural industry in Belgium.More than 500,000 types of plants and flowers can all be found under one roof, with the indoor gardens spanning over 1.5 hectares. It's no wonder that Ghent is regarded as the 'Flower Capital of Belgium'

Day 3 - Floralia
This morning, our included excursion takes us to Floralia, the spring flower exhibition in the park and greenhouses at the castle of Groot Bijgaarden. The park, which is approximately 14 hectares in size, incorporates many spring bulb varieties. The castle’s gardeners plant by hand, under direction from The Netherlands, more than one million bulbs. See tulips, lilies, narcissi, daffodils and numerous botanical varieties. A sea of muscari, wild tulips, violets, azaleas and rhododendrons spreads out under the ancient trees.

Day 3 - Botanic Garden, Meise and the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken
This morning, we will visit the Botanic Garden in Meise, one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe in the morning of Day Three. This will be followed by an afternoon visit to the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken, open to the public for only three weeks a year.

Day 4 - Bruges
Today we enjoy an included excursion to Bruges. With its quaint, historic buildings and network of canals, it is one of the architectural gems of Europe.
