5 Day Itinerary
Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then we travel to Paignton in pretty Devon for a four-night stay. Relax at the hotel and enjoy a delicious evening meal, or why not start exploring this compact town?

Day 2 - Plymouth and Harbour Cruise
We visit Plymouth, known as Britain’s Ocean City, and home to one of Europe’s most vibrant waterfronts. Discover its fascinating maritime history, such as its connections with Sir Frances Drake and the Spanish Amada, to the Mayflower sailing in 1620. Alternatively, enjoy its modern and cosmopolitan culture with trendy shops and bars, or visit the Barbican for quaint cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour.
Whilst here, we take a delightful cruise around the harbour – there's no better way to see this city than from the sea that shaped it!

Day 3 - Free Time or Totnes
Relax in Paignton and admire the beach front or many green parks in the town, or browse the delightful shops. You may wish to take a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway which runs on an old Great Western Railway branch line between Paignton and Kingswear.
Alternatively, why not join our optional excursion to Totnes, a historic market town on the banks of the River Dart?

Day 4 - South Devon Railway
All aboard the South Devon Railway! This multi-award winning railway is one of Devon's best loved tourist attractions. The SDR is a seven-mile former Great Western Railway branch line, built in 1872. Take a trip back in time on this traditional line and admire the beautiful scenery rolling by.
