6 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1

Regional departure by coach, then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland. After arriving at the Emerald Isle, we head to our overnight hotel.

    Meals - Dinner

  • Day 2 - Donegal Town

This morning, we journey across Ireland to Donegal Town. This bustling little hamlet at the mouth of the River Eske is great for a leisurely stroll around The Diamond Market Square, a local hub of music and culture, or up to Jacobean-period Donegal Castle. For those with an interest in wildlife, Donegal Bay is also home to a seal colony, so keep an eye on the water! From here, we continue to our hotel in Bundoran for three nights.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 3 - Day at leisure or Glenveagh National Park

Join our full-day optional excursion of Glenveagh National Park, Ireland’s second largest national park and home to an abundance of wildlife, passing by the stoic Blue Stack Mountains, known locally as the Croaghgorms. On this scenic journey, you’ll witness stunning views across rugged mountains and crystal-clear blue lakes. We also visit the Glenveagh Visitor Centre, where you can find out more about the interesting and gorgeous surroundings of the park.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 4 - Killybegs & Glencolumbkille

This morning, take in the glorious scenery on our included coastline drive excursion. We head first to picturesque Killybegs, a bustling harbour town that serves as the largest fishing port in the country. Later, see mountainous sea cliffs of Slieve League; the highest cliffs in Europe. Although less famous than the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Slieve League's cliffs reach almost three times higher…so don’t look down!

Finally, we see the rugged landscape of Glencolumbkille, a Gaeltacht village on the western coast of Ireland, famous for its wealth of traditions and Gaelic culture.

    Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5 - Dublin

Today, we leave Donegal and make a brief stop in beautiful Mullaghmore, a coastal village that lives in distant shadow of Ben Bulben Mountain. The name Mullaghmore will forever be associated with Lord Mountbatten, who was killed here in 1979.

From here, we continue to the Irish capital of Dublin, a beautiful Georgian metropolis where you can join our optional sightseeing tour; offering a tantalising taste of this fascinating city. The tour will show you both the north and south of the capital, as well as the inner city, which is full of interesting sights, historic buildings and even a pub or two! The tour is panoramic, seeing beautiful buildings of significance such as Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The National Art Gallery and the Four Courts. Dublin is also home to the Guinness Storehouse, should you wish to pay homage to the city’s most famous drink and see a panorama of Dublin from its glassed Gravity Bar.

In the evening, we head to our overnight hotel in the Dublin area.
