12-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Make your own way to London St. Pancras International and board the Eurostar to Frankfurt via Brussels, where we have an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Passau
We travel to Passau, known as the ‘three rivers city’ due to its unique location where the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers meet. We board our ship and set sail overnight for Regensburg. Tonight we will enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening on board our ship.

Day 3 - Passau – Regensburg
This morning we arrive in Regensburg, which lies at the northernmost point of the Danube. Our optional city tour takes you around the beautifully preserved medieval centre to admire the many sights. Later this afternoon we cruise overnight towards Nuremberg.

Day 4 - Nuremberg
Nuremberg is Bavaria’s second-largest city after Munich. The majority of the city walls still stand and inside you can enjoy a wonderful atmosphere, which combines medieval and modern life in an area filled with Gothic churches, aristocratic houses, fountains, memorials and romantic corners, all dominated by the Kaiser Castle. Our optional city tour is a great way to make the most of our visit, before we rejoin our ship and cast off overnight on our sailing to Bamberg.

Day 5 - Bamberg
This morning we arrive in Bamberg, located at the start of the Main-Danube canal. Surrounded by seven hills, it boasts the most intact centre in Germany with the old town listed as a world heritage site because of its authentic medieval appearance. Join our optional city tour to enjoy the main sights including the cathedral, Altenburg Castle, the Old Town Hall and the former Benedictine Monastery. This afternoon we enjoy a relaxing afternoon onboard our ship sailing towards Würzburg.

Day 6 - Würzburg
This morning you are free to explore the city of Würzburg, which served as the home of powerful prince-bishops for centuries. Alternatively, join our optional excursion to visit Würzburg Palace, one of the finest pieces of Baroque art in the world. This evening we cruise towards Wertheim.

Day 7 - Wertheim – Miltenberg
This morning you can enjoy free time to explore historic Wertheim. During lunch, we will cast off and set sail to Miltenberg where we will berth overnight. Miltenberg is described as the pearl of the river Main, with half-timbered houses filling the Old Market Place. The oldest part of the town sits between the Main River and the mountain Greinberg.

Day 8 - Miltenberg – Aschaffenburg
Early this morning, we depart Miltenberg and continue our sailing to Aschaffenburg where we will arrive just before lunch. Following lunch onboard, why not join our optional excursion to Johannisburg Palace? Located in the centre of Aschaffenburg by the River Main, it was the second residence of the archbishop-electors of Mainz until 1803. This evening, we cast off and sail overnight for Rüdesheim.

Day 9 - Rüdesheim – Boppard
This morning we arrive at the quaint wine town of Rüdesheim. Here, you can enjoy many highlights on our optional excursion, including a visit to the unique Siegfried’s Mechanical Museum and a cable car ride offering panoramic views across the Rhine valley. During lunch on board the ship, we set sail for Boppard where we arrive early this afternoon. The rest of the day and evening is then free for us to relax onboard or explore Boppard at our leisure.

Day 10 - Boppard – Koblenz – Andernach
This morning, we set sail from Boppard to Koblenz, one of the oldest, prettiest and most diverse cities in Germany. Here we will have some free time to spend at our leisure before lunch onboard. This afternoon, why not take advantage of our optional excursion to Sayn Palace & Butterfly Garden? During dinner this evening, we sail on to Andernach where we will berth overnight.

Day 11 - Andernach – Cologne
Today we set sail to Cologne, the largest city on the Rhine. On arrival here this afternoon, you will have free time to relax at your leisure or explore the city. This evening, we will enjoy our farewell dinner on board the ship.

Day 12
Today we say farewell to the ship as we disembark in Cologne. We commence our homeward journey by rail to Brussels, joining the Eurostar service to London. After arriving in London, you will make your own way home.
