The Moselle River is the longest tributary of the Rhine. It is a gentle river valley that boasts some stunning scenery as the river meanders between the hills of the Hunsruck and the Eifel.

During our tour we will visit the charming wine town of Cochem, dominated by the ancient and mighty Reichsburg Castle, dramatically perched on a hillside overlooking the town. The Moselle Valley is a famous centre of German white wine production and during our excursion we will have the chance to sample this local wine at the House of Anton Hammes. As well as the wine-tasting you will have the opportunity to purchase the wine should you wish to do so. The museum is home to one of the largest collections of self-playing mechanical musical instruments in the world and our visit provides a spectacle of fascination.
