Christmas Eve - Pompeii and Vesuvius
Discover the history and life of the great Roman city of Pompeii, on our optional excursion. We also drive to the top of Mount Vesuvius, which commands spectacular views. Walk the final thousand metres to the summit to view inside the crater (local charge of approx €10.00).

Christmas Day - Sorrento
Happy Christmas! Join our included excursion, as we drive through valleys, mountains and terraces lined with orange and lemon trees, olive groves and vineyards, all descending to the sea. Free time in the town of Sorrento to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. We return to the hotel and enjoy an included gala lunch.

Boxing Day - Isle of Capri
Today, join an optional excursion, as we sail across the Bay of Naples to magnificent Capri, a popular home of the rich and famous. Explore the island’s cliff-top panoramas, with views of Vesuvius.

Dec 27 - Amalfi Coast
Join our optional ‘Amalfi Drive’, said to be the most spectacular road in Europe. From Sorrento, the winding cliff-top road offers panoramic views at every bend. We visit Amalfi, which gives its name to this whole beautiful coast. From Amalfi we visit Ravello, which nestles in the hillside above the sea. Tonight we enjoy the festivities and the hotel provides a superb gala dinner.

Dec 28 - Rome
We leave Vico Equense and head to Rome on our included excursion. Also, known as the ‘Eternal City’ and the famed city of the Roman Empire, it has been a millennium long centre of power, culture and religion. The Historic Centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with wonderful palaces, churches, basilicas, Roman ruins, monuments and fountains. It has an immensely rich historical heritage and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Upon arrival in this beautiful city you will have time at leisure to savor the special ambience of this former capital of the Roman Empire.

Included excursion to Milan, seeing the Duomo, one of the world’s largest, most striking cathedrals, the elegant shopping arcades and much more. Our optional sightseeing tour will show you the main highlights.

Jan 2 - St. Moritz & Bernina Region Railway
Optional excursion into Switzerland, firstly to the world-famous resort of St. Moritz. From here we join the Bernina Region Railway, the highest rail crossing of the Alps. Don’t forget your camera! The journey takes us past the peaks of the Bernina Alps to Tirano, where we rejoin our coach, for the journey back to Tremezzo.
