Dec 23 - Villach
This morning we continue southwards towards Slovenia. En route we visit the charming town of Villach on the Austrian/Slovenian border. Villach is the second largest town in Carinthia and is nestled amongst the mountains. There will be free time for you to explore its beautiful old town before we continue to our hotel in Kranjska Gora for a four-night stay.

Christmas Eve - Bled
We head to the beautiful resort of Bled. Often referred to as the pearl of the Alpine Region, the lake is situated in a picturesque environment surrounded by mountains and forests. Whilst here why not try the local specialty, Kremna Rezina, a delicious vanilla custard and cream cake.

Christmas Day - Mlacca Gorge in Mojstrana
Merry Christmas!Enjoy a morning at leisure before we head to the Mlacca Gorge, in Mojstrana. Visit the unforgettable world of the Snow Queen and see the statues in the icy kingdom, lit by the flare of torches and lights.
Take a walk among the ice clad trees and across footbridges to see a fountain of ice crystal waterfalls. Tonight, we enjoy dinner and live music.

Boxing Day - Ljubljana
After breakfast why not join our optional excursion to Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana. It may be one of Europe’s smaller capital cities but it is filled with history and ancient sights. Ljubljana, developed by the Romans, is now a blend of Baroque Churches and mansions overlooked by a medieval castle. Spend the day at leisure exploring this fascinating city or take a stroll along the willow-lined walkways along the Ljubljana River.To make the most of your visit why not join our optional guided walking tour? We take a walk through the elegant Baroque streets and over the picturesque bridges to see the beautiful churches and palaces, and enjoy the atmosphere of the squares and riverbanks.

Dec 27 - Mondsee
Depart Slovenia and head to Mondsee in the Austrian Salzkammergut. Spend time in this pretty lakeside town. We continue to our hotel in Munich, where we stay for three nights.

Spend a leisurely day in the Bavarian capital, which has so much to offer the visitor. Why not join our optional sightseeing tour, which will allow you to see the best of the city.

Dec 29 - Chiemsee
Today’s included excursion takes us to Chiemsee, Bavaria’s largest lake, also known as ‘the Bavarian Sea’. We take a boat from the first class spa resort of Prien over to Herreninsel and to Herrenchiemsee, the largest and most expensive castle built by King Ludwig II.

Head north to Valkenburg in Holland for a five-night stay.

New Year's Eve - Monschau
Join our included visit to the quaint German town of Monschau. Centred on the banks of a small river and overlooked from opposite hillsides by the ruins of a stone watchtower and an old palace, Monschau is a classically pretty town.Linked by a series of bridges, the town’s restaurants and shops lead up to the town centre where a charming church proudly stands. We return to our hotel and prepare for our evening entertainment.

Happy New Year! Spend a leisurely day in our resort. Explore the town and blow away a few cobwebs.

Jan 2 - Aachen
Included excursion into Germany and to Aachen. The historic Old Town is perfect for visitors to stroll around. Here you can discover the charm of the narrow lanes and historic squares and be inspired by Aachen’s nearly 2000 years of history.Aachen is widely known as the Cathedral City or the City of Fountains, a very special world heritage site. Aachen owes its national recognition as a healing spa city to its more than 30 sulphurous springs.

Jan 3 - Free Time or Rhine & Moselle Valleys
Our optional excursion takes us to the majestic Rhine Valley. Famous for its picture-postcard villages, fairy tale castles and vineyards, there is no wonder that the area is considered by many to offer the most picturesque scenery in Germany. We visit the quaint Rhineland town of Boppard, which was once a Roman fort. Enjoy time at leisure in this pretty town to explore or amble along the promenade. Later, we travel to Alken in the Moselle Valley, where we enjoy an optional wine tasting.

You will stay for four nights at the 4-star Hotel Kompas in Kranjska Gora. In Valkenburg, you will stay for five nights at the 3-star Hotel Schaepkens Van St Fijt or similar. <_o3a_p>
You will also stay overnight in the Austrian Tyrol at a minimum 3-star hotel. Overnight stays in Belgium will be in city-style hotels.<_o3a_p>
