Day 2 - Brussels
We spend the day in Brussels, Belgium’s cosmopolitan capital, where you can enjoy its Gothic architectural treasures and multicultural roots.
The highlight of the day is the Carpet of Flowers exhibition. Once you pass through one of the seven entrances to the Grand Place, you will be presented with an extraordinary spectacle. Stretching out over 300 square metres, the magnificent floral display, made up of begonias, dahlias, grasses and bark, glows with colour and intricate detail. It takes months of preparation but has to be put in place in just one day. The best views are gained from the balcony of the city hall (entrance at additional cost).
