Itinerary
Day 1
Regional departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Travel to our hotel in Bavaria for four nights, where we enjoy a torch-lit walk through the hotel’s surroundings.

Day 3 - Bavarian Forest National Park & Joska Crystal Adventure World
This morning we include an excursion to the Bavarian Forest National Park. Opened in 1970 as Germany’s first national park and covering an area of 243 square kilometres, the parks stunning scenery is comprised of forests, moors, crystal clear mountain streams and lakes, including the spectacular Lake Rachelsee, the parks only glacial lake. During our visit you will have the opportunity to walk through the forest along the parks splendid treetop walk. With an overall length of 1300 metres, the Bavarian Forest treetop walk is amongst the longest of its kind in the world. After lunch we visit the Joska Crystal Adventure World in Bodenmais. You will have time to enjoy this interactive, sparkling experience where skilled glass blowers will demonstrate their traditional techniques before offering you a chance to blow your very own glass ball.

Day 4 - Passau
Today we travel into the centre of Passau on our included excursion. Picturesquely set at the confluence of the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz, a local guide in historical dress will introduce you to the charming old town with its grand squares and elegant landmarks such as the magnificent St Steven’s Cathedral, home to the world’s largest church organ, before you will have free time to explore the “City of the Three Rivers” at leisure.

Day 5 - 'Huskies' & Horse and Carriage Ride
We begin our day at the renowned sled dog farm of Dreisessel. We will spend time discovering the remarkable qualities of these incredible athletes, including the housing, feeding and stamina training involved in shaping this strong, independent yet lovable working canine breed. After a traditional lunch with some live music we will enjoy a horse and carriage ride through the beautiful scenery.
Please note: At Huskyhof Dreissesel, the dogs you may see, may be different breeds of Husky and Malamutes.

To Belgium for an overnight stay.

You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Vital-und-Wellnesshotel Schürger in Thurmansbang, set amidst the beautiful Bavarian Forest National Park. This family-run hotel offers modern rooms with a balcony or terrace. Due to demand, we may also use the Hotel Hohenauer Hof in Hohenau.Overnight stays in Belgium will be in city-style hotels.
