Itinerary
Day 1
Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Continue to the Austrian Lake District for a four-night stay.

Day 3 - Salzburg
Today, our optional excursion takes us to the ‘Sound of Music’ city of Salzburg where there will be free time for you to explore the sights at your leisure. Perhaps take a short walk along the Salzach River or treat yourself to a panoramic view of the city from the Hohensalzburg Fortress (at own cost). The funicular is a fast and convenient way to get up to the fortress and back down to the Old City. Be sure to saunter along the Getreidegasse, Salzburg’s most popular shopping mile. During the Advent season, the Christmas markets are located on Cathedral and Residenz Square in the heart of the historic city centre. Here you can experience incredible old Austrian traditions and find the most wonderful Christmas presents for your loved ones at home.Whilst in Salzburg be sure to spend time in one of the city’s traditional coffeehouses set against the backdrop of stunning architecture and busy squares. Order a piece of Mozart cake and a coffee or, if you prefer, relax with a warming Glühwein – the choice is yours!

Day 4 - Lake Wolfgang
Our included excursion takes us first to the town of St. Gilgen, the birthplace of Mozart’s mother and home to one of the most attractive town squares in Austria. From here we include a cruise across the Wolfgangsee to the town of St. Wolfgang.Advent time on Lake Wolfgangsee offers local delicacies, homemade punch and mulled wine as well as carefully selected gift ideas. There will be free time to explore the Christmas Market before we return to our hotel.

Day 5 - Steyr & Linz
Today our included excursion takes us to the city of Linz, with time to explore the Christmas market in the Baroque main square. From Linz we continue to the town of Steyr, which has a particular charm at this time of year. Here age-old Advent traditions come to life and invite you to journey into an authentic Christmas wonderland.Meals - Breakfast, Dinner

To Belgium for an overnight stay.
