Itinerary

  • Day 1 London to Jersey
  • Depart on your scheduled flight to Jersey. On arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel, where you will meet your Tour Manager and travelling companions. You'll be able to get to know one another better over a welcome drink and dinner this evening.
  • Day 2 Jersey
  • With its warm climate and history of flower cultivation, Jersey, the 'island of flowers', is the perfect place for growing everything from carnations to orchids. You'll be able to look out for them today on our included full-day tour.
Departing from St Helier, we'll visit St Aubin's Bay, with its long sweep of beach. Then it's onwards to St Brelade's Bay, Jersey's busiest resort, where a quaint church is located at one end of the bay. We also pass Corbiere Lighthouse, perched dramatically on the headland and connected to the mainland by a causeway. St Ouen's Bay, to the west of the island, is a surfer's paradise, while Greve de Lecq, on the northern coast, boasts dramatic high cliffs.
The village of Gorey is situated on the nearest headland to France and we'll stop to admire its harbour, with the castle of Mont Orgueil perched above. We'll return to St Helier via La Rocque Harbour and picturesque St Clement's Bay, and our tour also includes a visit to the famous Jersey Pearl Centre.
  • Day 3 Guernsey
  • Guernsey boasts a rich architectural and maritime heritage, and today's included visit takes in scenic harbours, quaint cottages, beautiful countryside and sandy beaches.
There's also plenty of free time to discover the island's delights for yourself. The capital, St Peter Port, is a vibrant harbour town, where you'll find bistros, restaurants and boutiques. There's also unexpected attractions such as the magnificent Guernsey Tapestry. This series of 10 colourful panels was created to celebrate the arrival of the new millennium and illustrates 1,000 years of local history.
  • Day 4 Jersey War Tunnels
  • This morning we'll enjoy an included half-day tour of the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels. The Channel Islands were the only British soil to be occupied during the Second World War and slave workers were ordered to dig these tunnels into the hillside. The Germans originally used them as a barracks and ammunition store, but they were later converted into a hospital. Today this absorbing historical attraction tells the story of Nazi occupation through a series of underground galleries and exhibitions.
  • Day 5 Jersey to London
  • Your holiday draws to a close today as we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
