Itinerary

Wednesday

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner.

Thursday

After breakfast, we head to Cheltenham Racecourse for St Patrick's Thursday. As is traditional on this particular day of the Festival, a real Irish flavour is guaranteed as racegoers celebrate St Patrick’s Day early with plenty of craic, live music and dancing, as well as the two feature races, the Ryanair Chase and the Stayer’s Hurdle. When the racing has finished, we rejoin the coach and head back to our hotel for dinner.

Friday

After breakfast, we make our way back to Cheltenham for a second day of sporting action – seven races in total including the highlight of the week, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Get ready to cheer on your horse and experience the spine-tingling roar of the crowd as the equine stars thunder up the famous Cheltenham hill towards the finishing post! After the excitement of the final race, we return to the hotel for our last evening.

Saturday

Following breakfast at the hotel, we check out and depart for home.

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel (JG3 or JG4 rating) such as the Holiday Inn Bromsgrove or Holiday Inn Leamington Spa. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
