Description

A real summer’s treat awaits on this special break! First, we visit RHS Garden Bridgewater, offering an impressive variety of flowers, ancient woodland, peaceful lakes and idyllic meadows, before enjoying a day at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show. As the biggest show garden in the North, you can expect a kaleidoscope of colour at the peak of summer, four distinct zones and plenty of inspiration, all set in the stunning grounds of Cheshire’s Tatton Park.

Coach Itinerary

Day 1

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to the stunning RHS Garden Bridgewater, a carefully curated horticultural project on the former site of the Worsley New Hall. Spread across 154 acres, there’s no shortage of gardening delights to enjoy. These beautiful gardens offer a varied selection of agricultural themes to explore including a Kitchen Garden, a Chinese Streamside Garden and the Victoria Meadow which shines with the golden glow of the hay crop during harvest time and is a haven for local wildlife. Later our coach takes us to the hotel, arriving in time for dinner and to enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we head to the Tatton Park Flower Show; the perfect chance to stroll around the stunning show gardens, marvel at the exuberant floral displays and gain plenty of inspiration for your own garden. There are four distinct areas; the Grow Zone celebrates the beauty of flowers and plants, the Inspire Zone is all about cutting-edge design where the next generation showcase their talent, the Feast Zone boasts the Fruit and Veg Pavilion, Great British Allotment and cookery demonstrations and the Escape Zone is home to hundreds of stalls, with designers selling everything from gardening furniture, tools, specialist art, ceramics, crafts and gifts. We rejoin the coach in the afternoon for our journey home.
