Step into a canvas come to life and discover the landscapes that inspired Claude Monet, the master of light and atmosphere. This enchanting four-day escape invites you to explore the very scenes that stirred the Impressionists to redefine the way we see the world. From the tranquil beauty of riverside gardens to the golden light that dances through the trees, each moment is a brushstroke of French charm. Our base is just outside Paris in the delightful town of Rueil-Malmaison, a peaceful retreat with easy access to the capital. Enjoy time at leisure in Paris to soak in the surroundings and enjoy the strolls, café culture and poetic ambience that once captivated Monet himself.

This morning, enjoy some leisure time to explore Rueil-Malmaison, home to the Château de Malmaison, once the residence of Empress Joséphine, with its beautiful gardens and historic charm. Afterwards, we take a relaxing cruise along the River Seine, offering stunning views of Paris’s iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame. We spend the afternoon in this wonderful city, including time to enjoy an early dinner at your leisure before the coach picks us up again to return to the hotel.

We begin our day with a visit to Monet’s Garden in Giverny, where vibrant flowerbeds, tranquil water lilies and the iconic Japanese bridge inspired the master’s timeless paintings. Wander through the beautifully maintained gardens and explore Monet’s charming house, filled with personal artefacts and artwork. After a leisurely morning, we return to the hotel for time to freshen up. Later, enjoy an optional guided tour of Paris, shop or simply soak up the city's atmosphere at your own pace.

Optional Guided City Tour of Paris (£25pp)

We head into France’s capital, Paris, where we spend the day at leisure. Discover the many iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe on an optional guided city tour, taking in all the main sights. Wander through the quaint streets of the Latin Quarter or along the lovely banks of the Seine, there is so much choice!  Later, there’s time to enjoy an early dinner at your leisure before the coach takes us back to our hotel.

Travel back to Calais for our return ferry home.
